Update 1.1.2.0
March 16, 2009
Due to a change in the update process, you may not have the latest and greatest release of Twittle. There were some major under the hood changes with 1.1 that resulted in an incorrect check for update process. This has been resolved, but you may have to download the latest release manually from here to make everything all better.
If you would like to check to see if your application is up-to-date, you can visit the about tab in the settings window. If you see any number less than 1.1.2.0 (like 1.1.0.0) you should download the newest release from the site. Once this has been installed, all updates will be delivered as they were previously… directly to Twittle.
Other major changes include a countdown for API calls, a direct messages tab, an in-reply-to footer, and other minor improvements. The 1.1 release cycle saw other improvements relating to quicker refreshes of the timeline, functional links in all tabs, and a better reply system.
Known Bugs:
- If you change user names, the timeline no longer refreshes, and you must restart twittle to see them.
- @Usernames referenced in a tweet are not clickable.
- Twittle still won’t help you lose any of that winter weight.
